You are naturally motivated to help others and are compassionate as an integral part of your character. You hold an active NMC Pin and driven by your own standards to offer a highly personalised service to each patient.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Evaluate mental health, understanding symptoms and risks for a comprehensive overview of the individual's well-being.
  • Treatment: Implement personalized plans, combining counselling, psychotherapy, and medications to address and manage mental health issues.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to crises, deescalate situations, assess risk, and ensure safety during acute mental health episodes.
  • Patient Education: Empower patients and families with mental health education, treatment options, and effective coping strategies.
  • Collaboration and Advocacy: Work with healthcare professionals, ensuring coordinated care, while advocating for mental health rights and destigmatisation.
